2021年5月9日（日）いやぁ、長い長いゴールデンウィークでした。とてもゆっくり休めましたが、ちょっと休み過ぎました。笑（〜すぎる：to do too much）私にとっては、ちょっと早い夏休みのようです。今日からまたあさラジオをスタートします。がんばります。

おもしろいトピックですね〜。ありがとうございます。
私はチェコに住んでいたんですけど、たしかに日本人のファッションは他の国と比べると、時々ちょっと変わったスタイルだなと思います（変わった：strange, odd, different）
日本人はかなりオシャレをするのが好きだと思います。おしゃれ：fashionable/good looking
When you have a fashionable style and people would say “おしゃれですね！”
自分でかわいいネックレスをつけたり、きれいなスカートをはく時は「おしゃれをする」と言いますよ。
「今日はデートだから、おしゃれしなくちゃ！orおしゃれするよ！」
とにかく anyway, 日本人は、特に東京の人はかなりおしゃれだな〜と思います。
普通に友達と昼ごはんを食べに行く時も、女の子はスカートをはいて、かっこいいブーツをはいて、きれいなピアスとかネックレスをつけて、しっかりお化粧もしていきます。
化粧をする：to make up
もし私がTシャツとジーンズに、汚いスニーカーをはいて、ノーメイクで友達に会ったら「ん？今起きたの？それとも、お金ないの？」と思われてしまうかもしれません・・。

日本人の、特に女の子は、よく化粧をしていると思います。
どこか近くを散歩するだけでも、ちょっと眉毛（eyebrow）を描いたり、アイラインを描いたりするでしょう。
で、ノーメイク（= すっぴん）で買い物に行きたい時は、恥ずかしいからマスクをして行くこともめずらしくないです。
恥ずかしい：be embarrassed, shy, ashamed,
めずらしい（珍しい）：unusual, rare
もし、好きな人とデートをして、初めて一緒に温泉に行ったら、温泉の後で会う時もちゃんとメイクをすると思います。
「すっぴんで恥ずかしい！」と思うからです。
それから、日本人の女の子は、あまり肌を見せませんね。肌：skin
たとえば、セクシーな服、胸が大きく見える服とか（胸：chest）、短いスカートとかは、あまり履きません。もちろん、そういう服が好きな人もいますけど、本当に少ないと思います。まぁ、日本ではセクシーな服を着たら、変態（pervert, bad and strange people）がスカートの写真を撮ったり、さわったりするかもしれませんからね。私はセクシーな服をあまり着たくないですから、いつも長いスカートとか、胸があまり見えない服を着ています。
日本人は、だいたい周りの人と同じようなファッションをしたいと言う人が多いと思います。

だから、トレンドを追いかける人も多いです。Many people follow the trend.
もちろん、みんなじゃないですけどね、たぶん８０〜９０％の人は、トレンドを気にしていると思います。
でも、たまには違う服も着たいですよね。
そんな時、私たちは浴衣や着物を着ます！
ヨーロッパでは、伝統的な（traditional）服を、特別なお祭りの時しか着ないと思いますが、日本では特別な祭りがなくても、暑い時には浴衣を着て、寒い時は着物を着ます。
自分で着るのができない人は、近くの着物レンタルショップに行けば、３千円くらいで好きな着物を着ることができます。
デートの時にカップルで着物を着るのも、人気です。おもしろいですね。

Today’s topic is “Japanese fashion”! It’s an interesting topic. Thank you very much. I lived in the Czech Republic, but I think Japanese fashion is sometimes a bit different compared to other countries (strange, odd, different).
I think Japanese people like to be pretty fashionable. Fashionable: fashionable / good looking When you have a fashionable style and people would say “It ’s fashionable!” When you put on a cute necklace or a beautiful skirt yourself, you say “fashionable”. “Today is a date, so I have to be fashionable! Or I’ll be fashionable!”
Anyway, I think Japanese people, especially people in Tokyo, are pretty fashionable. When I usually go out for lunch with my friends, the girls wear skirts, cool boots, beautiful earrings and necklaces, and make up well. Make up: to make up If I wear T-shirts and jeans, dirty sneakers, and meet my friends without make-up, I might be wondering, “Hmm? Did you get up now? I think Japanese people, especially girls, often wear make-up. Even just taking a walk somewhere nearby will draw a little eyebrow or eyeliner. If you can’t wear it yourself, you can go to a nearby kimono rental shop and wear your favorite kimono for about 3,000 yen. It is also popular to wear a kimono as a couple on a date.
