今日は天気が良くないけど暖かいので、散歩をしたり、コーヒーを飲みに行ったりしようと思います。みなさんは何をしますか？

みなさん、日本にはどんなカフェ文化があると思いますか？
カフェと喫茶店の違いは何ですか？
カフェも喫茶店も同じコーヒーを飲むお店ですけど、ちょっと違いますよ。
カフェは新しいスタイル、喫茶店は古い昭和のスタイルのお店です。
カフェにはよくエスプレッソマシンがあって、カプチーノとかカフェマキアートなどがあるし、ミルクフォームの上に絵を描くラテアートなども人気です。
それから、カフェはお昼ご飯のメニューが充実しています。スープとサラダとお肉のセットとか、なんかそういう、、おしゃれなメニューがあります。

おしゃれな：fancy, fashionable
それに比べて喫茶店は、ちょっと昭和なスタイルで、コーヒーはドリップコーヒーが多いと思います。
喫茶店のお昼ご飯も昭和スタイルなものが多くて、たとえばオムライスとかナポリタンっていうケチャップで作るパスタとか・・・
あと、タバコが吸える喫茶店も多いですよ。
ね、カフェと喫茶店、けっこう違うでしょ。

それから、日本には「カフェ＆バー（Café & Bar）」っていうスタイルのカフェもあります。
カフェバーは、朝とお昼はカフェスタイルで、夜はバーになるから「カフェバー」です。
夜になると、お酒を飲んだり夜ご飯を食べたりできます。
カフェバーはけっこうおしゃれな雰囲気なので、女性グループとかカップルに人気です。

そして、日本には「猫カフェ」もありますね！
猫カフェだけじゃないです。

犬カフェ、うさぎカフェ、鳥カフェ・・・ あとは「ふくろうカフェ」というのもありますよ。
ふくろうは、owl です。変なカフェですよね。
このような動物のカフェでは、コーヒーとかを飲みながら犬や猫と遊ぶことができるんです。
おもしろいですよね。

それから、まだありますよ。日本には「メイドカフェ」があります！
「メイド喫茶」ということもあります。
メイドカフェとメイド喫茶は、たぶん、同じです。たぶん。。。
メイドカフェでは、メイドの可愛い女の子がコーヒーを作ってくれたり、オムライスなどの食事を作ってくれたりします。
それからメイドが歌ったり踊ったりするイベントもあるらしいです。
ね、可愛い女の子とコーヒーを飲みたかったら、ぜひ行ってみてください。
あ、執事カフェというのもありますよ。

かっこいい男の人とかおじさんが、執事カフェをやっています。
日本人はコスプレが大好きですからね・・・
