今日のトピックは京都の観光です。
私は今京都に住んでいるので、京都のおすすめ観光スポットについて教えようと思います！
ちなみに、観光で有名な場所 famous tourist place、これを日本語では「観光スポット」や「観光地」、「観光名所」といいます。
例えば、東京タワーは観光名所です。 Tokyo tower is a famous sightseeing spot.

京都は日本で有名な観光地です。毎年多くの観光客が来てくれます。観光客：tourists
また、京都はお寺や神社でとても有名な街です。神社の数はだいたい800軒、お寺は1700軒もあるそうです。We have 800 shrines and 1700 temples in Kyoto city.
今日は、京都のおすすめ観光スポットを３つ紹介します！
１つ目は、「伏見稲荷大社」です。Fushimi Inari shrine です
伏見稲荷大社は、少し高い山の上にあります。京都駅から電車でだいたい20分くらいです。近いですね。伏見稲荷大社の山には、たくさんの鳥居があります。
鳥居というのは、神社にある門（shrine gate）です。
ふつうの神社には、鳥居（gate）が２つか３つくらいしかありませんが、伏見稲荷大社には千本以上の鳥居があります。Fushimi inari shrine has over 1000 Torii Shinto gates.

山の頂上（summit）まで登るのにはだいたい１時間から２時間、ゆっくり登ったら３時間くらいかかりますので、朝早く起きて伏見稲荷大社に行くことをおすすめします。

二つ目の観光スポットは、嵐山です！嵐山は山の名前ですが、その山の近くに「嵐山」の街があります。京都駅から嵐山駅まで、だいたい15分から20分くらいです。
嵐山には、綺麗な桜やもみじ（autumn leaves）がたくさんあるので、春か秋に来るのがおすすめです。
春は桜を、秋にはもみじを楽しむことができます。
嵐山には大きい川が流れていて、川の近くのレストランでランチをすることもできます。
サイクリングやジョギングもおすすめです。
それから、嵐山には「竹林の道」という場所があります。「竹林」というのはbamboo forestという意味です。
高さが100mくらいある竹（bamboo）がたくさん生えていて、本当に森の中にいるみたいです。

三つ目のおすすめ観光名所は。。。。うーん、難しい。京都にはたくさんの綺麗な場所があって、選ぶのは難しい。難しいですが、うーん。どうしよう。うーん。
おすすめ観光スポットは、、、 宇治です！
宇治という街も、京都駅からだいたい20分から30分くらいで行ける場所です。
宇治は、抹茶がとても有名です。This place Uji is famous for Macha. 宇治にはお茶の畑（field）があって、宇治抹茶という名前のお茶が作られています。抹茶が好きな人は、ぜひ宇治に行ってみてください。
宇治には、綺麗で大きいお寺があります。「平等院鳳凰堂」というお寺です。とても古くて、1000年の歴史のあるお寺です。庭がとても綺麗で、静かな場所です。
宇治には大きい川が流れているので、天気がよかったら川の近くでお茶を飲んだり、抹茶アイスを食べたり、ピクニックを楽しんだりすることもできます。
街は小さくて静かで、古い家がたくさん並んでいるので、散歩をするのも楽しいです。

京都の街の中にも神社やお寺がたくさんあって楽しいですし、電車に20分か30分くらい乗ればすぐに山へ行くことができるので、ハイキングを楽しむこともできます。

Today’s topic is sightseeing in Kyoto.
I live in Kyoto now, so I would like to tell you about recommended sightseeing spots in Kyoto! It takes about 1 to 2 hours to climb the summit, and 3 hours if you climb slowly, so it is recommended to get up early in the morning and go to Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine.

The second tourist attraction is Arashiyama! Arashiyama is the name of the mountain, but there is a town of “Arashiyama” near the mountain. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes from Kyoto Station to Arashiyama Station. Arashiyama has a lot of beautiful cherry blossoms and autumn leaves, so it is recommended to come in spring or autumn. You can enjoy cherry blossoms in spring and maple leaves in autumn.
There is a large river running through Arashiyama, and you can also have lunch at a restaurant near the river. Cycling and jogging are also recommended. Also, there is a place called “Bamboo Forest Road” in Arashiyama. “Bamboo forest” means bamboo forest. There are a lot of bamboos that are about 100m high, and it looks like they are really in the forest.
