今日のニュースは「津波の跡にできたハイキングコース 」です。

２０１１年に東北地方で強い地震と大きい津波がありました。
津波のせいで福島の発電所が爆発したり、町が壊れたり、たくさんの人が亡くなったりしました。
そんな災害が起こってから、もう１０年が経ちましたね。
津波があった場所には1,000kmのハイキングコースができました。
このコースでは、海の近くをずっと歩くことができます。
この新しいハイキングコースのおかげで、また東北地方に観光客が戻ってきています。
コロナのパンデミックが終わったら、もっと多くの観光客が外国から来てくれるといいですね。
In 2011, there was a strong earthquake and a big tsunami in the Tohoku region.
The tsunami caused the Fukushima power plant to explode, the town to be destroyed, and many people to die.
It has already been 10 years since such a disaster happened.
Now, a 1,000km hiking course has been established in the area where the tsunami hit.
On this trail, you can walk all the way along some beaches.
Thanks to this new hiking trail, tourists are coming back to the Tohoku region.
I hope that more tourists will come from abroad after the covid pandemic is over.
