Kyoto is surrounded by mountains, so the weather can change easily.

Do you have such an experience? Like.. you have studied a lot, worked hard to pass the exam, and okay, finally you are ready to go to Japan! But you might think “oh wait… the native Japanese speaks completely differently! Different from that of JLPT listening’s ones!

This self-introduction is like the one when you join a new company or you start at a school, you say hello in front of everyone.

When talking to someone for the first time at a party or drinking party, it’s like this.

You should start talking about yourself after asking the other person’s name or where they came from.

“こんにちは” is often used in front of people who are older than you, or when you have a speech in front of everyone.

Actually, it’s rude to say “hello” to your boss at the company.

You say “おはようございます” to the people who you work with, even when it’s in the evening, you still say おはようございます.

May 17, 2021 (Monday) Today’s weather is rainy, rainy and rainy! When I thought, I stopped. I heard from the weather forecast that it will rain all day today, but now it’s cloudy. Kyoto is surrounded by mountains, so the weather can change easily. Surrounded by: be surrounded by… Kyoto is surrounded by mountains, so the weather can change easily.

Today’s topic is “Native Japanese”!

How are you studying Japanese? Are you studying with a textbook? Textbook: textbook Of course, studying Japanese using a textbook is a good thing. .. .. I’ve studied a lot, worked hard to pass the JLPT exam, and I’m ready to go to Japan! If you go to Japan thinking that, what? The native Japanese way of speaking is completely different from that of JLPT listening people! Do you have such an experience? 😂 Do you have such an experience? Like .. you have studied a lot, worked hard to pass the exam, and okay, finally you are ready to go to Japan! But you might think “oh wait… the native Japanese speaks completely differently! Different from that of JLPT listening’s ones!

If you usually watch Japanese movies and dramas, you probably know that the Japanese in textbooks and the Japanese spoken by ordinary natives are sometimes a little different. I will talk about it today. From usual: always, generally,

______

Well, first of all, it’s a self-introduction. Self-introduction is self-introduction. What do you say when you introduce yourself? “Hello, nice to meet you. My name is Momoko. I’m from Kyoto. Thank you.” Well, that’s right. This is not a bad idea, but this self-introduction is like a self-introduction when you enter a new company or school and say hello in front of everyone. This self-introduction is like the one when you join a new company or you start at a school, you say hello in front of everyone. In that case, this self-introduction is okay. But, for example, if you go to a friend’s party, there are a lot of strangers, and the atmosphere is casual (atmosphere), this self-introduction is a little strange. It looks like a robot. When talking to someone for the first time at a party or drinking party, it’s like this. When talking to someone for the first time at a party or drinking party, it’s like this. “Ah, nice to meet you. Excuse me, your name is …? Ah, Yuriko-san. Thank you. Momoko. Ah, from which one today …? Ah, from Osaka. I’m from Kyoto. It’s close, yes ~, thank you very much ~. ”

Yes, did you understand? First of all, I think that there are quite a lot of people who start with “Thank you”. “Thank you” is a little more casual than “Hello”, so you can use it for people who talk for the first time at parties or drinking parties.

Also, it’s a little strange to say “I’m from Kyoto”. I think it’s more natural to talk about yourself after asking the other person’s name or asking where they came from. You should start talking about yourself after asking the other person’s name or where they came from.

I also rarely use “my name”. No, I don’t use it at all. “Hello, I’m Momoko” is enough.

________

By the way, “Hello” is often used in front of older people and everyone. “Hello” is often used in front of people who are older than you, or when you have a speech in front of everyone. After that, it is okay to use “Hello” in class (lesson).

But when I talk to a person in upper position, I don’t use “hello” much. Actually, it’s rude to say “hello” to my boss at the company. Actually, it’s rude to say “hello” to your boss at the company. At the company, we say “good morning” to the people we work with. I use “Good morning” even at night. You say “Good morning” to the people who you work with, even when it ’s in the evening, you still say Good morning. Also, “Thank you for your hard work” is okay.

Also, it would be very rude to say “hello” to a customer at the company. We say to our customers, “We are always indebted to you.” It’s a long “Hello”. 😂

Somehow, today I ended up talking about self-introduction. 😂 In the next podcast, I’ll talk about the differences between native and textbook speaking styles.

So today is Monday! Let’s do our best together this week. See you.
